Woman, Life, Freedom International Film & Visual Arts Festival
First Edition
We are delighted to introduce the first edition of the Woman, Life, Freedom International Film & Visual Arts Festival Festival. This festival revolves around themes that resonate with the essence of womanhood, life’s diverse experiences, and the fundamental concept of freedom. In addition to these core themes, the festival also seeks to explore and celebrate narratives related to peace, equality, and the enduring human spirit.
Hosted by the Damavand Art & Calture Society NGO in Canada, this festival is a global endeavor that aims to bring together artists from around the world. The festival features two competitive sections:
- A) Short Film Section: This section is a platform for short films of various genres, including fiction, animation, documentary, experimental, and video art.
- B) Visual Art Section: In this section, artists have the opportunity to showcase their talents through various mediums, such as painting, photography, graphic design, digital painting, visualization, and conceptual arts.
Artists and filmmakers interested in participating can find the festival’s regulations and the official call for entries for each section on the website. Submission to the festival is entirely free, and the jury board, comprised of esteemed individuals from the creative and artistic realms, will evaluate and select the best works across all sections.
The festival’s commitment to its objectives extends to showcasing selected works in various forms of media, publications, ads, and exhibitions in multiple nations, all while giving due credit to the talented artists for their invaluable contributions. The event’s dedicated director will handle any unforeseen issues or decisions that may arise during the festival.
Outstanding works that align with the festival’s themes will have the opportunity to receive accolades and awards. Prizes will include a unique statue, a commemorative plaque, and a financial reward of $500 Canadian for the winner in each category. Special mentions will also be awarded in various sections.
We eagerly anticipate receiving your creative works, as they play a crucial role in shaping the festival and contributing to a global conversation on the themes of womanhood, life, freedom, peace, and more.

جشنواره بین المللی فیلم و هنرهای تجسمی زن، زندگی، آزادی
اولین دوره
باعث خرسندی ما است که اولین دوره جشنواره بین المللی فیلم و هنرهای تجسمی زن، زندگی، آزادی را رونمایی کنیم.
این جشنواره با اتکا به مضامینی همچون زنانگی، تجربیات متنوع زندگی و مفهوم اساسی آزادی برگزار می شود. علاوه بر این مضامین، موضوعاتی همچون کشف و تجلیل از روایت های مرتبط با صلح، برابری و روحیه پایدار انسانی از دغدغه های برگزار کنندگان این رویداد مستقل فرهنگی است.
این جشنواره که توسط انجمن مستقل و غیردولتی فرهنگی هنری دماوند کانادا برگزار می شود، تلاشی جهانی با هدف گردآوردن هنرمندان از سراسر جهان است. این رویداد هم به شکل آنلاین و هم به شکل حضوری در دو شهر با هویت فرهنگی، ونکوور کانادا و تفلیس گرجستان برگزار می شود. جشنواره بین المللی زن، زندگی، آزادی دارای دو بخش رقابتی است:
الف) بخش فیلم کوتاه: این بخش شامل فیلم های کوتاه داستانی، انیمیشن، مستند، تجربی و ویدئو آرت می شود.
ب) بخش هنرهای تجسمی: این بخش شامل نقاشی، عکاسی، گرافیک، نقاشی دیجیتال و هنرهای مفهومی می شود.
هنرمندان علاقه مند به شرکت در جشنواره می توانند آئین نامه جشنواره و فراخوان رسمی هر بخش را در وب سایت جشنواره مشاهده کنند .ارسال آثار به جشنواره رایگان است و هیئت داورانی متشکل از افراد برجسته در هر بخش به ارزیابی آثار خواهند پرداخت.
جشنواره متعهد به نمایش آثار منتخب در اشکال مختلف و بهره گیری از تمام ظرفیت های رسانه ای و نمایشگاهی برای بهتر دیده شدن آثار در بخش های گوناگون است. دبیر جشنواره مسئول رسیدگی به هرگونه مسائل یا اتفاق های پیش بینی نشده در دوران قبل، حین برگزاری و بعد از جشنواره است.
به آثار برگزیده که با اهداف جشنواره همخوانی داشته باشند، جوایزی اهدا خواهد شد. این جوایز شامل تندیس، لوح تقدیرو مبلغ ۵۰۰ دلار کانادا برای نفر اول هر بخش است. ضمنا در هر بخش و بنا به تشخیص هیئت داوران، می تواند تقدیرهای ویژه از چند اثر صورت پذیرد.
